“Just do it! It is so much fun”
Alexander & Hannah recently took part in a Wicklow Passport adventure which saw them exploring Ireland’s Garden County. During their adventure, they visited locations like Shillelagh, Avoca, Arklow, and Enniskerry, collecting 18 Passport stamps in the process! In our recent interview, we found out more about the details of the journey and learned more about the Wicklow Passport experience which awaits future Ambassadors!
How did you first hear about the Wicklow Passport?
We had first heard about the Wicklow Passport on Instagram.
What motivated you to take on the challenge?
Fortunately, Wicklow is on our doorstep, and we love exploring it.
So this challenge was very welcome.
Can you share your favorite memory from your Wicklow Passport experience?
We really enjoyed all of the places we went to.
However, the stamp at The Dying Cow pub was our favourite.
It is a hidden gem with a great location, wonderful history, lovely beers and great pizza!
What advice would you give to others who are interested in participating in a similar adventure?
First of all: Just do it! It is so much fun.
Also, make sure to not rush getting your stamps. Take your time to explore the area where you collect your stamp!
We were delighted by so many love surprises along the way, such as wonderful ice cream, cool shops, lovely pubs!
If you had the chance to do your Wicklow Passport adventure all over again, what would you change?
We wouldn’t change a thing!
What was your overall impression of the Wicklow Passport challenge?
We just loved exploring each place we visited.
What is your next adventure?
We have loads of plans for 2024!
I think we are first going to do a walk at The Devil’s Glen.
