Foraging for edibles at Killruddery House & Gardens, Bray, Co Wicklow.
The historical house and gardens of Killruddery, set in 850 acres of working farm and protected biodiversity, offer a stunning and unique location for a foraging expedition! Fionnuala Ardee, one of the family members at Killruddery, explains the history of the house on a private tour through the Walled Garden, noting various herbs and vegetables, and foraging for seasonal fodder along the way. The Head Chef will meet guests along the walking route to offer Killruddery Pork Sausage Roll eaten with freshly picked leaves.

Meet Brett Stephenson, the winemaker at Wicklow Way Wines, Ireland’s first fruit winery. Hear about berry winemaking in Ireland and the importance of environmental sustainability in production, followed by a visit to the tasting room overlooking the vats.

Taste Wicklow Whiskey at the Powerscourt Distillery, Powerscourt Estate, Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow

Meet the Makers Tour Wicklow is €150 including all tastings. Pick up from Dublin City at 9am is included. The tour ends at 5.30pm in the seaside town of Bray, where you can stay overnight in one of the many hotels and guesthouses or grab a bite to eat, before heading back into Dublin City on the DART.
