Explore the wonders of the Knitted Map of Ireland that is on display at Carnew Community Care.  The knitting required thousands of hours to complete this giant display (5m x 4m) featuring some of the most iconic landmarks in Ireland.  Those include Glendalough’s Round Tower, Dublin’s Guinness Storehouse, Wexford Lighthouse, Belfast Titanic’s Shipyard, The Giants Causeway, Croagh Patrick, Blarney Castle and much more.  Find the many characters and features hidden around the 20 square meters art work.

Carnew Community Care is open Monday to Friday from 10am until 4pm – Groups of 7 or more are requested to call in advance of visiting.
