A large natural glacially deposited granite boulder. There are iron rungs imbedded in the near vertical west face of the stone. A small triangular hole occurs in the top of the stone – the age and purpose of the hole are unknown although it may be associated with the 18th century AD mapping of the area.
Now located in the village green in Donard Village, it has been moved from its original location – Avoca Rathdrum. It is a rectangular block of stone with an inscription which reads ‘IAQINI KOI MAQI MUC…’
