Abhainn Ri Farm is situated overlooking the rolling Wicklow hills and Kings River (Abhainn Ri) as it flows into the spectacular Blessington lakes.

Abhainn Ri has been in the Byrne family for six generations and now lovingly restored with all its unique features into a special place for a very romantic getaway. An excellent selection at breakfast for food lovers. A great break away from it all with some lovely restaurants just a short drive away.

Guests have freedom to wander and visit our farm animals on our 40 hectares of farm trails.  During 2023 we have developed further trails and wildlife pond and re-introduced Dexter cattle to the farm.  We have horses, ponies, donkeys, goats and lots of hens.

The guest bedrooms Lily & Rose have the most amazing views of the lakes and Wicklow landscape with en suites, tea making facilities, fridge and microwave.   The Garden Suite with patio entrance and stunning views of the landscape.   It has an en suite, kitchenette, living area and large TV.   All rooms overlook the lakes, gardens and landscape.

We cook breakfast using our own farm eggs and bake all our own breads, scones and muffins daily.   We have an extensive menu with lots of choices and also vegetarian and vegan options   Guest can also book a baking class with Niamh to learn how to bake traditional Irish bread and scones.   Afternoon Tea is also available to book and guests can enjoy lots of home baked treats.
