Mickey Finn’s Pub The premises has a unique rustic charm as you journey from room to room with welcoming open fires and pot bellied stoves throughout. The Pub and its friendly staff are a magnet for both the locals and tourists alike with Traditional Irish Music and Irish Dancing Sessions, Hoolie Nights and intimate candlelight acoustic evenings. Mickey Finn’s has been short listed in the National Tourist Bar of the Year Awards on two occasions for its ambience and traditional rustic feel as well as its servings of an array of talented and varied musicians, high quality cuisine and Irish Craft Beer, all of which lends itself to the kind of atmosphere tourists come to Irish to savour. Brewery Bistro The rustic and stylish Brewery Bistro is the newest addition to Mickey Finn’s Pub. Situated in the old ‘Collier’s Shop’, the restaurant retains much of its former authentic charm. The original shelving along with a bridge section of the first floor is still visible, as is the old bakery stone wall. The room is lit by Moroccan lamps and candle light giving it a warm intimate atmosphere, perfect for any special occasion. A traditional wood-burning stove adds to the ambience of the room. Head Chef Keith Gerreyn has developed an interesting menus of Modern Irish Cuisine. Keith also draws on his Sri Lankan heritage to add a slight Asian slant to the Menu with the focus being on high quality, yet reasonable priced food. Locally sourced ingredients combine in the kitchen to provide a mouth watering and expertly judged menu, catering for all tastes. Keith has also designed a selection of Finger Food Boards for that casual evening amongst friends with a choice of BB Meat Platter, Sea-food Platter, Charcuterie Platter, Vegetarian and Kid’s Platter Options.
