National Bike Week runs from the 10th May – 18th May.
Wicklow Sports & Recreation Partnership invites you to join us for an exciting evening of cycling-themed activities at the Wicklow Town Bike Week Festival on Thursday, May 15. Taking place in the Murrough Carpark from 4pm to 7pm, the event is free and open to all ages and abilities. Whether you’re an avid cyclist, just learning to ride, or simply looking for a fun and active evening with the family, this festival has something for everyone.
What’s On:
Street Velodrome
Experience the thrill of Ireland’s only pop-up velodrome. Bikes and helmets are provided – just turn up and give it a go. Suitable for all ages.
Learn to Cycle Taster Session
A supportive space for beginners and those looking to build their confidence on two wheels.

Disco Yoga Session
Get moving with a fun, music-filled yoga class. Suitable for all fitness levels and a great way to kick off the evening. Bring your mat and get involved!

Spin Cycle Sessions
Join one of our two 30-minute outdoor spin classes, designed to get your heart pumping and energy levels up.

Bike Maintenance Workshop
Drop in for expert tips and advice from the team at the Sports Room. Bring your own bike for a free check-up and learn how to keep it in top condition.
Family-Friendly Entertainment Throughout the Event:
This event is part of Bike Week 2025, a national celebration of cycling. It’s a great opportunity to get outdoors, try something new, and connect with your community in a fun and active way.
