The 2018 edition of Wicklow County Tourism’s map is now available for collection.
Collection can be made at Wicklow Tourism’s office on the Murrough in Wicklow Town. Distribution is starting this week, and the popular map will soon be available around County Wicklow and beyond.
The cover of the map was kindly donated by Wicklow based photographer Anna O’Rourke with a midday shot of Glendalough’s Upper Lake. This was the winning image chosen through an extensive competition on Wicklow Tourism’s social media platforms.
The Wicklow Tourism map is widely used by visitors to find their way around the County. The map lists the many attractions, points of interests and activities on offer in Wicklow.
The map is illustrated and sponsored by the many ads that give visitors a tremendous insight into Wicklow’s diverse offering. Those include places to visit, play, stay, eat, shop and various services.
“Our map has proven extremely popular with visitors over the years and is eagerly awaited by tourism providers” says Fred Verdier, Manager at Wicklow Tourism. “It is a fantastic way to give a quick introduction to all that Wicklow has to offer.”
“We wish to thank the many local advertisers for their support without which the production of our map would not be possible” ads Pat Mellon, Chairman of Wicklow Tourism
