Georgia from Terenure in Co. Dublin and Luke from Claremont in California, really enjoyed a day out together collecting their passport stamps around Co. Wicklow.
Read their blog here:
“We were scrolling on Instagram and came across a reel of someone receiving their stamp from Poppy’s Cafe. We were immediately interested because we’ve always been enamoured by Wicklow, so much so, we did it immediately the next day.
Initially, we planned on doing it over the course of a couple days but we got so locked in that we completed 15 stamps within 8 hours. No breaks.
Our favourite location turned out to be the Tapau House in Arklow as the owner was delighted to see someone doing the passport and insisted on taking our picture. We felt like celebrities.
Other highlights included junction 18 at The Home of Green Angel in Brittas Bay, The Wicklow National Botanic Garden and The Wicklow Gaol.
It is definitely a great way to discover areas that you would never go otherwise, I thought we had been to many places in Wicklow but there was truly so many unique and different areas that we came across.
It felt like a video game side quest, you get to meet cool unique characters and see all that Wicklow has to offer.”
