Nestled in the picturesque Vale of Avoca you will find Woodenbridge Hotel, Ireland’s oldest hotel dating back to 1608.  This traditional hotel, steeped in character, it best known for it’s history, atmosphere and food.  The main hotel has 29 ensuite bedrooms, and the Woodenbridge Lodge an additional 40 ensuite bedrooms.  A number of these rooms have balconies with golf course and river views.

We have an extensive menu in our Goldmines Bistro ranging from home made soup and sandwiches to fillet steak.  There is something here to suit all tastes.  We also offer daily specials and Sunday lunch.  Vegetarian and Coeliac diners are also well catered for.  Our home made brown bread and cheesecakes are definitely worth a try, you won’t be disappointed!  Bar food is served from 12.30 – 9.00pm each day.
