The Olde Shillelagh is centrally located on the main street of Shillelagh village. There is a craft shop to the front of the building with a separate side entrance to the accommodation at the rear of the house. Set back from the main street, the peaceful setting of the garden contains a row of picturesque converted stone out-buildings.
Each of the these out-buildings is a bedroom with it’s own entrance door direct from the garden. The rooms are centrally heated and have an ensuite with a shower. Guests can store their provisions in the fridge, and make use of the kettle and toaster to make a light snack before bedtime. There is free Wi-Fi access and a TV showing the local Irish stations.
A full cooked breakfast is served in each morning. There is direct access to the dining room from the garden. In the evenings there is bar food available at the Park View House in Shillelagh or Coolattin House and Golf Club is just a 5 minute taxi journey away. There is also the Village Take Away for fresh Fish and Chips and Pizzas. Guests requiring a packed lunch can visit the deli counter in Walkers supermarket in the morning.
