Nestled into a naturally wooded site, with extensive views of the Wicklow mountains, the site has been kept as close as possible to its original state. Providing a close to nature experience for residents: wild deer are regularly seen grazing in the open glades in the morning and evening.

At Glendalough Glamping, we take our role as custodians of our beautiful hillside seriously. We continuously explore ways to enhance the natural beauty and diversity of the site, and to lighten our own footsteps on the land. We believe people benefit immeasurably from re-connecting with nature and having a peaceful and beautiful place to take it all in. Our slice of heaven is quiet, scenic, and tranquil. A true eco-escape, we offer a peaceful getaway specifically for adults.

All our cosy, insulated pods are made of solid pine and cedar. We use no concrete under our pods, to decrease their carbon footprint and reduce damage done to the landscape.

Inside your pod you’ll find an extra large double bed, cosy sofa with cushions and throw rugs, electrical outlets and USB ports, tea and coffee-making facilities, towels, a fan, and a heater.

Every pod includes a deck to the front with outdoor dining furniture and lighting, so you can enjoy an outdoor meal, the mountain views, birdsong and local wildlife by both day and night.

The pods are serviced by the Glamping Lodge where visitors are greeted and checked in.

To the front of the lodge, a large fully equipped kitchen and large, sunny dining area offers visitors an ideal place to cook and dine whilst enjoying the view of the mountains beyond. To the rear of the lodge, you’ll find spacious, modern, and clean washrooms with showers.

Further up the hill, our sheltered dining area offers panoramic mountain views and picnic tables that can be used in all weather conditions. We also offer a number of BBQs on-site for you to unwind with friends or a loved one and enjoy the outdoors. Complete with picnic tables and mountain views, it is the perfect setting for a relaxing outdoor meal.
