We found that the Passport was brilliant to do and we really enjoyed it.
Mia and her family recently took on the Wicklow Passport challenge. While exploring some of Wicklow’s top attractions and enjoying themselves along the way. In doing so, Mia became Wicklow’s youngest ambassador!
We spoke with Mia’s family to learn more and gather insights into their adventure.
How did you first hear about the Wicklow Passport?
We heard about the Wicklow Passport on Facebook through the VisitWicklow page.
What encouraged you to take on the challenge?
We decided to take on the challenge to explore the lovely County Wicklow and to discover places we have never been to before.
What was the most memorable experience you had while participating in the Wicklow Passport campaign?
There were a few but the best experience was the Avondale Tree Walk and Powerscourt Waterfall. Mia loved all the different things to do on the Avondale pathway, especially the slide at the end.
We enjoyed seeing the waterfall and playing in the playground at Powerscourt Waterfall.
Mia also enjoyed asking for her stamps at each attraction.
