On July 4^th until 6^th 2025, the Wicklow Mountain Bike Festival hosts 3 days of mountain bike action featuring multiple mountain bike disciplines such as, the infamous ‘Whip Off’ crowd pleaser, Enduro racing, Cross Country racing and Downhill Events.

The festival village will be located at Biking.ie/Trails Café in Ballinastoe Forest and will mark the focus point for information, food, drinks and live music. Spectators are welcome to come and cheer on Ireland’s best Mountain bike riders over this exciting outdoor weekend.

Wicklow MTB Festival weekend format:

Friday:

‘Whip off’ event: Ireland’s most skilled Mountain bike riders will show off their tricks to the crowds.

Saturday:

‘Enduro’ race: which sees riders taking on every descent in Ballinastoe National Mountain bike trail Centre. With 7 stages, over 30km and 1800 meters climbing it’s going to be a serious challenge for even the most experienced riders.

Sunday:

‘Cross Country’ race: Time for Ireland’s fittest mountain bikers to tackle the Ballinastoe Trails. Expect a savage course with punchy climbs and fast technical descents.

‘Downhill’ race:   Ireland’s bravest and most skilful riders will race against the clock on a predetermined downhill track.
