Early in the morning, as the village still sleeps, Grangecon Kitchen is bustling – loaves of sourdough are being baked, fresh doughnuts being filled with cardamom custard, pistachio and orange cake cut into generous slices, cinnamon buns being dusted and the coffee machine warming up.
Co-founders Laura and Stephanie share a passion for locally-sourced food made from seasonal ingredients and inspired by flavours from all over the world.
Stephanie and Laura work with local food producers and farmers to create a menu that is exciting for the tastebuds and good for the land. They make everything from scratch, often throwing in ingredients foraged from the woods and fields around County Wicklow.
