Your last and final day! 3km of quiet country roads lead you to a forest entrance on the right. If you wish to visit Shillelagh; instead of entering the forest continue on the road until you reach a cross road, turn left and you’ll reach Shillelagh (journey distance: 3km). Along the next section of route you’ll be rewarded with fantastic views south and Mount Leinster dominating the skyline. After some pleasant rambles you’ll arrive on the public road and the last 4.7km of this epic journey.
