At Nature To Go, our goal is to provide a nature-based, holistic approach to wellbeing by strengthening the connection to Nature by allowing for a deeper understanding of oneself and the natural world.
To give everyone the powers hidden in Nature, we offer a selection of tours and guides based on a mindful immersion of the senses in the surroundings. Each of them will take you on a journey under the supervision of a certified guide and will last from 1.5 to 4 hours. Depending on the experience and expectations, you will hike a multi-kilometer hike trail or go deeper into yourself – towards tranquility.
In recent years, more and more of us forget that we are part of Nature. It is very often reflected in our bodies and psyche.
Research shows that the lack of contact with Nature has many manifestations and all of them are destructive for us. It all comes from the simple truth about us and our roots. Nature supports us and allows us to access many emotions and understand other people or things and changes. We feel and know that it is medicine for the body and spirit.
Solutions:
Forest Bathing is an immersion of one’s senses in the atmosphere of the forest. A slow and silent walk helps to reconnect with Nature and improve wellbeing. This experience aims to relax and restore the nervous system through meditative exercises.
It has been shown that forest bathing has a beneficial effect on strengthening the entire immune system and balances blood pressure. All thanks to reducing the stress level, the feeling of which decreases during the stay in the forest. Forests, as healthy environments, can also regulate circadian rhythms and promote cognitive restoration, allowing for better sleep.
The calming effect will be enhanced by herbal tea (Chamomile or Lemon balm), served in handmade beakers, at the end of the experience.
This fun and interactive session mixed with nature-related games and mindfulness time allow the smallest explorers to discover the magical world of the forest. By participating in the session, children will have the opportunity to spend time in a healthy environment and clean air and connect to Nature through the senses of sound and sight.
Research shows that environmental knowledge relates only to 2% of children’s ecological behavior’s in the future. On the contrary, nature connectedness (spending time in Nature, gardening, bird watching, observing pollinators) can explain up to 69% of ecological behavior in the future (Otto & Piccini, 2017).
Expect your children to get mud on their shoes and dirt on their hands and get creative during games and artistic expression.
