Rathmore Country House is over 300 year old. Run as a private Guest House since 2000, It is Neither a hotel or a professional guest house.
Family run Guest House, Rathmore has run as an extremely private house with an air of friendly informality which is unique in an Irish Country House. Guests are welcomed to use the facilities of the entire house as if staying with friends or family. There are family dogs and a cat in the background and animals play a large part of life at Rathmore . Within the courtyard and still on the farm, is a Self Catering Cottage that can be rented on a weekly basis. Apart from farm animals, there are also horses, goats and hens in the traditional stable yard.
Our bedrooms are unsuite with luxurious beds dressed with crisp cotton and a selection of comfortable pillows. Wake up to breathtaking views of the premises and gardens and mountains.
All of the 8 deluxe rooms are styled in modern country luxury decor and 5 suites rooms with fully equipped kitchens and unsuites. Our dining options at Rathmore can give you the option of private dining for those special occasions with family and friends in our dining room or the informal option of dining at our Farmstead cafe. Enjoy afternoon tea or choose a drink and snacks from our delicious bar menu. Large groups can also be catered for in our Barn Room.
