DESCRIPTION:Powerscourt Estate is proud to announce the return of the Wonder of Trees – Samhain Tree Experience\, a unique two-day festival celebrating biodiversity\, mythology and wellbeing. Following the success of its inaugural year\, the 2025 programme takes place on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd November at Powerscourt Estate. \nThis year the tree experience offers a rich programme of tree and nature walks\, storytelling\, forest bathing\, and thought-provoking panel discussions. The aim is to inspire connection with trees\, share knowledge\, and highlight the ways in which trees sustain both biodiversity and human wellbeing. \nHighlights include: \n\nTree & Biodiversity Walks each morning with leading experts including Alex Slazenger (Head Gardener\, Powerscourt)\, ecologist Faith Wilson\, Seamus O’Brien (National Botanic Gardens\, Kilmacurragh)\, and broadcaster Éanna Ní Lamhna.\nForest Bathing guided by Forest Bathing Wicklow (Cat de Wit and Orlagh Walsh)\, offering immersive wellbeing experiences.\nWorking with Nature – In Practice Mini Panels on Saturday afternoon\, featuring inspiring fireside-style conversations with shortlisted projects from the Working with Nature Awards.
