DESCRIPTION:Wicklow Pride is set to come alive from June 28 to July 5\, with an amazing list of dazzling events.\nWicklow Pride has officially announced its highly anticipated festival for 2025. The event promises to include incredible performers\, organisations\, and proud LGBTQ+ community members and allies who will march through the streets\, spreading messages of love\, equality\, and empowerment. \nLast year Pride set the bar high\, but the upcoming festival is set to surpass expectations. Kicking off on June 28\, participants will enjoy a full week of spectacular entertainment\, events\, and community activities all across the town. \nHighlights include: \n\nDip & Sip – a refreshing morning swim offering a perfect time for chats and good vibes.\nWine & Art Night – ideal for spending a relaxing evening with a glass of wine while discovering art from some of the best queer talent around Ireland.\nA range of online workshops on topics such as mental health\, inclusivity and LGBTQ+ rights.\nOn July 5th the parade kicks off at Abbey St. car park and will move all the way through Wicklow Town. Participants and spectators are then invited to Black Castle for an afternoon of fun and celebrations. This FREE event will feature music\, stalls\, food\, family fun and entertainment from a variety of speakers and performers. DESCRIPTION:On July 4th until 6th 2025\, the Wicklow Mountain Bike Festival hosts 3 days of mountain bike action featuring multiple mountain bike disciplines such as\, the infamous ‘Whip Off’ crowd pleaser\, Enduro racing\, Cross Country racing and Downhill Events. \nThe festival village will be located at Biking.ie/Trails Café in Ballinastoe Forest and will mark the focus point for information\, food\, drinks and live music. Spectators are welcome to come and cheer on Ireland’s best Mountain bike riders over this exciting outdoor weekend. \nWicklow MTB Festival weekend format: \nFriday: \n‘Whip off’ event: Ireland’s most skilled Mountain bike riders will show off their tricks to the crowds. \nSaturday: \n‘Enduro’ race: which sees riders taking on every descent in Ballinastoe National Mountain bike trail Centre. With 7 stages\, over 30km and 1800 meters climbing it’s going to be a serious challenge for even the most experienced riders. \nSunday: \n‘Cross Country’ race: Time for Ireland’s fittest mountain bikers to tackle the Ballinastoe Trails.
