Butterfly Watch at The Miners' Village, Upper Lake, #Glendalough on 22 August, 12pm - 4pm (subject to weather).
The Miners' Village is home to one of Ireland's most camouflaged butterflies - the Grayling. Free event.
The Hillforts of Baltinglass, on 22 August, 7pm - 8:15pm at #Baltinglass Courthouse. A talk by Alan Hawkes, Archaeologist on the significance of the Baltinglass Hillfort complex with special reference to the most recent discoveries, with opportunity to visit the old cells and the courthouse building. Free event.
Whale Watch on both #Bray Head and #Wicklow Head, on 24 August, 2pm - 5pm. The Irish Whale and Dolphin Group hosts these guided land-based whale watches. Bring binoculars, your sense of humour and refreshments! Free event.
