Mick Dunbar Bus & Cab Hire is a
family run business operating in Rathdrum, Co Wicklow
but which covers all surrounding areas. We are in
business since 2001 and are committed to providing an
efficient, reliable service to cater for the needs of
our customers. We offer personalised transport to all
tourist destinations and cater for airport and ferry
ports as well as short local runs. A significant amount
of our summer work is centered on hillwalkers who visit
Wicklow each year to walk the famous Wicklow Way.
We have expanded our business, and now in addition to
offering a taxi service we are also fully licenced bus
operators. Our mission is simple, book with us, and you
can relax and be assured that we will be there and
always on time.
As one of the transport operators selected under the
Wicklow Rural Transport initiative, we operate the
Laragh to Rathdrum route. Locals and tourists alike can
use the bus service. It leaves Laragh every Friday at
10am to Rathdrum and then continues on either to Wicklow
or Arklow town, leaving there for the return journey at
approximately 12.30. Bus passes accepted on Wicklow
Rural Transport routes and under 5s are free. For

New for Summer 2010
Wicklow Way Bus Service from Rathdrum to Tinahely,
Laragh, Glendalough & Glenmalure
For 2010 we have added the Iron Bridge and the village of
Tinahely as destinations on our new bus service. The service
is designed to work with the train timetable into Rathdrum
station and is ideal for those walking the Wicklow Way. In
addition, the service also travels to Glenmalure, Laragh,
Glendalough.

Day Tours of Wicklow from Dublin & Rathdrum Train
Station
We also offer personal day tours (maximum 16 people per
tour) of Wicklow with collection from either Dublin City or
Rathdrum Train Station. Our tour will take you through the
'Garden of Ireland', allowing plenty of time to stop, savour
the scenery and relax in this beautiful part of the world
with lots of photo opportunities on the way. For more
