Lough Dan House is situated on hill farm in the Wicklow
Mountains overlooking Lough Dan, the largest natural
lake on the east coast of Ireland.
Guests may enjoy a short or long break on Loughdan Lake
fly-fishing for the wild and wiley brown trout which are
in abundance in this remote but spectacular lake and
presents a challenge to the most skilled fisherman, the
fish are small but the sport is excellent and you will
be fortunate to meet another angler on the lake.
Blessington Lakes is only a short drive over the
Mountains from Loughdan House and here wild brown and
rainbow trout as well as roach, perch and pike fishing
is available, fly, spinning, trolling and dead-baiting
is permitted.
Situated 1 hour from Dublin Airport and all major Ferry
Ports, close to Glendalough and convenient to the entire
east coast, “Loughdan House” is one of the very few
locations on the east coast of Ireland which cater for
the Boat Angler in pursuit of truly wild fresh water
angling.

The "Wicklow Way" Irelands first long distance walking
route, of 130 kilometres, is part of a network of long
distance self guided walking tracks throughout Ireland,
its easy accessibility with a wide variety of scenic
experience, much of it in truly remote areas, the “Way”
is the most westerly part of the E8 footpath which
extends across much of Europe.
“The Wicklow way” passes through the Dublin Mountains,
Powerscourt, Luggala, Lough Dan, Glendalough, Glenmalure
and the foothills of Wicklow, as it winds its way from
Marley Park in Dublin, to Clonegal in Co. Carlow.
Price includes, bed and breakfast, evening meals, packed

Valley Park plus Sally Gap downhill cycling tour to
beautiful Glendalough
This package includes 3 days and 2 nights accommodation
in one of our cosy log cabins with all access to the
park. On one of the days we will provide you will all
your cycling gear and equipment and take you on a scenic
drive up to the top of the Sally Gap. From here you will
begin your cycle downhill to Glendalough. You can stop
for lunch in Laragh or have a picnic in Glendalough. You
will have all day on the bikes to explore the Wicklow
Mountains and Glendalough area before cycling back to
