Wicklow Mountains National Park: Learn Five Trees, 17th April March 2019
Have you ever wondered, ‘what tree is that?’ Fewer and fewer people these days know how to recognise our common native trees. Why not stop by for 10 minutes and let us teach you 5 trees – Sessile Oak, Hazel, Hawthorn, Birch and Holly.
Where: outside the National Park Information Office, Upper Lake, Glendalough
When: Wednesday 17th April 2019 anytime between 11am and 4pm
Duration: 10 minutes
Practicalities: This event is suitable adults and children. This event is free of charge but please be aware that the Upper Lake car park (Wicklow County Council) has a €4 charge for car parking. The boardwalk is also accessible from the OPW Visitor Centre (car parking charges may apply).

This event is organised by education staff based at Wicklow Mountains National Park who are employed by the National Parks & Wildlife Service under the aegis of Department of Culture, Heritage and the Gaeltacht.
