This year’s Féile Londubh, a three day Poetry and Music Festival, will take place in Ashford, a small village in the foothills of the Wicklow mountains. Inspired by the late Seamus Heaney’s connection to the village, the festival celebrates the marriage of music and poetry and Seamus’ support of such events in Ashford.
Féile Londubh is an annual event that places special emphasis on organising events for the whole community. The festival enlists a variety of local, national & international artists who encourage participation in the arts and the development of creative, educational and community links. These connections are at the heart of Féile Londubh, with a wide range of events for children and adults, many of which are free.
