Home to the Brabazon family (the Earls of Meath) since 1618 Killruddery House is the most successful Elizabethan-Revival mansion in Ireland and the most fashionable of its time. The 17th century Gardens survive in their original formal layout with some 18th & 19th century additions. The Long Ponds, The Angles and The Sylvan Theatre are features of this magnificent landscape.

There’s so much to see and explore. Nature has never been more relaxing with leisurely walks in one of Ireland’s most renowned gardens, filled with beautiful planting and wooded areas, water features and distinctive outdoor rooms. Delightful Tea Rooms and guided tours of one of Ireland’s Great Historic Houses are just some of the other treats on offer.

You’re spoilt for choice with lots to do for Mums, Dads and Kids. And anyone with a love of the outdoors will find lots to enjoy.

Guided tours of the house are available in July, August and September at 1pm, 2pm, 3pm and 4pm or by private appointment for larger groups. Please note that access to the house is by guided tour only.
