Poulanass and St. Kevin’s Cell Walk

The ‘Info Office’ makes an ideal start point for this walk; pop in to see the animals and learn more about the history of the valley. This walk take a steep track up beside the beautiful Poulanass Waterfall before descending along the forest road to bring you Saint Kevins Cell with fantastic views over the valley floor.

Grade: Moderate , the route is marked with bronze arrows
Distance: 2km

Total height climbed: 120m
Highest point: 210m
Terrain underfoot: forest road and track.
Suitable for: families with children, not suitable for pushchairs
Notes:  do not cross over the fence near the waterfall as there are cliffs underneath
