Adventure Kids

Adventure Kids:

Adventure Kids Wicklow is a kids trail running fun session run by JuJu Jay. The kids get the chance to run, have lots of fun and feel free in nature. We are based in Laragh and Devils Glen, Co. Wicklow and sessions take place each week. It is the optimum in outdoor fun for kids!

The kids love JuJu’s ways of teaching, his fun sense of humour & the fact he likes jumping in the mud & getting wet… and he shows them how to do it all safely! There are no phones or tablets in sight, just some good old fashioned outdoor fun in the woods.

Adventure kids for  (Age 5+) include a variety of games & activities which include a combination of trail running, jumping, getting down and dirty in the mud, rolling & playing on the grassy hills, relay races, trail running drills and balance exercises. All of this will help confidence and trail running becomes second nature.

The Older Adventure Kids (Age 10+) is more about trail running and gives the kids a great introduction to running on trails. JuJu Jay shows  the kids how to run safely on tracks and trails, in woods, on muddy or dry stones & rocks, how to safely cross rivers, run on board walks and much more… the kids get the chance to run free in nature while working on natural movements to improve their skills.

It’s not all about trail running and drills – if the weather permits, the kids insist on a river dip! This is the highlight of the session and can be very wet indeed with JuJu being the biggest kid there!

Parents are encouraged to participate in each session and the kids love the parents having to jump the jumps or rolling down hills.  Everyone learns something new, while having heaps of fun which helps to promote a new confidence and that all-important connection with nature.

Adventure Kids lets kids be kids and helps unlock your inner child.
