The Manor Cottages are nestled in the grounds of a 19th-century manor house in the village of Manor Kilbride, County Wicklow. Situated in the foothills of the Wicklow Mountains National Park and just 25km from Dublin City Centre, this is the perfect setting for those looking to unwind and revive in an idyllic Irish countryside setting.
Aptly named, Wood Cottage and Herds Cottage are situated at opposite ends of a large private courtyard and are perfect for couples, families and small groups alike. Each cottage has two bedrooms (one double and one twin) along with two bathrooms. There is an open-plan kitchen with all modern conveniences, and a spacious living area with cosy open log fire. The cottages are equipped with a TV and DVD player, and have central heating throughout.
Set in 16 hectares of mature woodlands and private country gardens, the Manor Cottages offer an authentic rustic experience, featuring natural stone walls, and timber beam ceilings and floors. Both cottages have private gardens and open access to roam the surrounding manor grounds, where guests can enjoy beautiful riverside walks shared with the local wildlife, which includes deer, otters, kingfisher, heron and other bird life. Angling is available on the small lake and river on the property.
From the estate, guests can easily reach nearby championship golf courses, race courses and many historic attractions, all less than 20 minutes away. Dublin City and airport are also accessible in about 45 minutes.
